Texas VINELink Support
Phone: 1-866-277-7477
Use: help with a person-specific custody search or notification registration, not a certified release record.
Federal Bureau of Prisons and ICE records belong to those federal systems. A local Dawson release to another agency may be a transfer, so ask the sheriff to name the receiving custodian before choosing a locator.
- For a released person or exit record, start with the complete Dawson County search and request path.
- For parole or probation, use post-release supervision contacts.
- For same-day release activity, follow the 24-hour release fallback.
- For timing or alerts, compare release date lookup with the VINE inmate check.
- For facility-specific records, choose Dawson County Jail or Preston E. Smith Unit in the footer.
- For a sentenced Texas prisoner, contact TDCJ or use its current-custody search.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP or ICE locator and the responsible federal office.
